Walking through the woods
Of the Evergreen forest, she
In search of her love
With the bright light
Of the Lantern in her hand

Anger took him away
To a mile in spite of her nay
Never knowing him watching
His love even though far away

Light of her Lantern
Took a flash of her love
Sitting on a rock of solitude
In the memories of his love

Her smile brighter than
The Lantern's light
Seeing her beloved
Far from her way

With tears in her eyes
Hugging him tight
Asking him never to leave
Promising never to brawl

Holding her in his arms
Conveys never to search him
Outside the world dear
Because I am within you !
