She keeps on digging at nothing
Not knowing where they've been tossed
With the feeling at least nothing is something
If you're searching for what you have lost

But before she can leave it all behind
There's a simple urge of tidy and neat
So she fills in all the empty holes
That once held her childhood dreams

She wants no one around here tripping
Into that vast emptiness
Because even empty dreams can be captivating
If they are dug with enough finesse
