Races at greyhound speed
across the manicured
lime grass of the park.

Pigtails twirling
in the breeze behind.

Red Wellington
boots at the ready
as she reaches the tree.

Her eyes smiling
at the rustle of leaves
from Crimson, through
yellow and brown.

She gathers a pile
and throws them to
the breeze.

The sun falling on
the rainbow colours,
her pink cheeks.

A lilting wind captures
her high pitched shrieks.
