Mar 2016
I burned our house down, darling,
I deeply breathed the smoke
I couldn't shake the nightmares,
From which I never woke

Can you see the flames, love,
So high they reach the sky?
I do so hope with this fire cleansing,
Those awful memories die

Can you see me dancing, darling,
Amongst the floating embers?
It seems the smell of ash,
Is something I'll always remember
