They told her
she couldn't be that way
awkward bashful
cocoa girl
a mad obtuse thing

She has a symphonic voice
like sybil with a sore throat
and her whispers were more
pleasant than reeking
filtered flower-scented air

She roams like sweet breath
gives peeks
melting the sky with vengeance
while veiling her tongue
with ecstasy
