The neighbors left my dog alone
in the cold, dark, rain.
They do not care it is insane.
My empathy is still the same.

This is not how it has to be.
I hear his silent plee.
Together it is as we are one, I, him & we.
A neglection of abandonment I see.

They should wrap him in a blanket &
Keep him warm.
Cover him from the wind & storm.
Compassion is what will form.
With love bonds a new life is born.
Owners of dogs without empathy or compassion for their dogs feelings. Animals should have equal rights as people.
