On a bright starry night of happiness past
We met where the ocean kissed the sand
A dream rushed too fast
Where the sunshine fell into a loving embrace with land
My eyes met your eyes once more
Blood rushed to your cheeks
The flames of passion engulfed your face and my gaze fell to the floor
For when I'm with you I'm at my highest, snow topped peaks
For when I see you I'm filled with the fire of my emotions
But with time I may separate myself from such notions
You sing to my heart in the most devilish of ways
I bask in your sunshine the most glorious of rays
To see an end
Would understand where it all began
Yet there's still a smile at my side
Tugging my sleeve reminding me once more of you
There has yet to be a night where I haven't tried
To remind you of love and still  I bid you adieu
