Lemmings
There are cliffs and
there are
ledges.
South of gravity,
cavities release color;
cataracts shade
what is too unconscious
to discover.
DO NOT
(under any circumstances)
fall.
Do not blink,
or allow hearts to accelerate in order
to decompose
like a token;
like a rock
interwoven
with moss and
history.
The bottom-
perhaps the best view.
I bleed, I ache, I pour;
I imbue a morbid yesterday
on your plate for dinner.
