The depth eludes
The span intrigues
The presence or absence
Of a single human gene
The hand of chance
The toss of bones
A need to write
To ride, to roam
Extroverted instincts
Introverted scares
So many different
Combinations
Of who we are
No end to up
Nor absolute down
The rules of existence
Continue to confound
Protons and electrons
With neutrons we fire
Our vibrations fluctuating
Our hearts full of desires

In stages of growth
In philosophical mindsΒ Β
In spiritual realms
We are merely
Vibrations in time...
