Are you sleeping
Or are you dreaming
Because to me there is a distinction
Between to similar states of being

Simply sleeping will produce no wonder
No creativity or interest for the poet to plunder
But dreaming, dreaming is a powerful state
In which the human mind can do the most amazing thing, create

So are you sleeping, or are you dreaming?
Don't search too hard for an answer
If you're dreaming, capture those elusive thoughts
They move quicker than the tiniest dancer
