Dec 2015
During the smog that is life,
Occasionally sparks fly about,
Igniting the air around you,
And there is reason to smile.

These sparks dance in the air
Like candlelight flickering;
An erratic, yet beautiful dance.
They touch you at the right moments.

Sometimes,
The sparks reanimate you when you go cold,
And sometimes, they fail.

But I've learned to live for the sparks,
And for the chance that eventually
They'll ignite the wood of my life,
And then everything will be bright.
