Leaf

Rustic love adornes the wind blown streets Each fallen from a branch of hope Picked from the safety of life And tossed around like yesterday's news Blowing around the feet of strangers Twirling about with no direction Not knowing where it will end Tears now fall from the sky Resting a while in a safe place But time cannot return them So begins the hurry in life Until the earth reclaims And life begins again
