i tend to stray from "christians"

from people spewing hate at me
and yelling "because the Bible says so"

from hypocrites who tell me i'm wrong
while claiming "nobodies perfect"

from a savior who tells me he's close
but yet never seems to be near

from pastors glancing my way,
restraining an eye roll

from a book of rules and regulations,
yet contradicting every other page

from a group that claims love,
but only shows hatred

i mean for a group of saints,
i sure see alot of sinners
