THE BEAUTIFUL ADDICTION

Ah, I am an addict, a hopeless addict
my poetry is the cause
I consume more and more of this drug
I can't stop or pause

so I'll call this
the beautiful addiction
you fellow-poets will surely understand
my magnificent perdition.
