Lord, help me to be that as a child

The innocence with which they're blessed

The child of innocence has found assurance

Because when a child's world is in turmoil
That is when they reach out their hands

As God the Father always understands

He is the child's Savior as he is for me
I need the faith of a child in the midst of catastrophe
Instead of thinking I can do it all on my own
I need only give him that faith knowing he has been here all along
And will continue to be long after I'm gone...
