Aug 2015
And so with sigh and parted sorrows
She lay her head to rest
She focused on the ifs of morrow
And the bes of best
She drifted slowly
Swirling light
And arrived upon the gate
Of dreams and mares of midnight horrors
Of karmic, destined, fate
She followed through in laughing fear
And soon upon a twist
She allowed herself the gift of gods
And took upon the risk
To control the final outcome
To make it go her way
To realize her worth
To simply, cease the day
A pinch as she awakened
More than just from sleep
A part of her own being
Lost within each weep
Dreamt dream, now faded memory
Dawn's light throughtout her sky
A second chance at yesterday
A tear and silent Bye!
