"How still, the water lies-
as the heavens lighten
and the darkness dies"

"Still", no breeze, peaceful, serene-
the trees, reflecting off the mirrored surface,
as if saying, "its going to be a beautiful day."

And, here they come!
Mom, dad, their five kids,
on their morning outing-
leaving a soft wake from those
webbed feet as they glide across the water.

There is a certain beauty in watching the ducks
and the geese this early-
I like to think it's God's way of saying "Good Morning!"-
to me.
