She always loves without expecting anything back
It was as if that’s all she know
Love, it’s what she became of
Like she was born to be there for other people

Her world is occupied with hope
There was never any room for hatred
“Focus on the good things” she said
She was always positive for the sake of others

All she wanted was to be happy
She would reach out to other people to be a light to their darkness
Do whatever she wants and ignores the ‘maybe’
Never afraid and always fight for what is right

But there‘s only so much she can contain
People who helps needs saving too
At the end of the day she cries it out till she’s asleep
So that when she wakes up, she forgets for awhile

When there’s no hope, that’s the time she’s hopeful
She never gets mad, but gets disappointed all the time
If she gets disappointed in you, she’ll argue that,
“You should be happy because I care about you”

Most girls would mind their own business
They would be selfish, immature, with no ambition
And fame is the only thing that they crave
But she’s too smart to be any of those kinds
She stands out and is outstanding at the same time

What she want is happiness
To everyone around her even if it’s not within
If happiness is a person she would embrace it so tight and never let go
Spend time with it like there’s no tomorrow even if it’s only for a day

She’s slowly dying inside as days go by
There’s nothing more painful, she said
“Being surrounded by people who don’t appreciate love"
She prays that someday, someone will come her way
And made her feel the love that she always craves

Wait expectantly.
She did.
So she waited. And waited.
It’s only a matter of time when changes will come and things would turn upside down
It’s only a matter of time till those people appreciate what she do
It’s only a matter of time till someone arrive and show her what love is all about
It’s only a matter of time.
Or so she thought.
