May 2015
In a garden full of flowers,
He picked a single rose.
Admired it's beauty
And bathed in it's scent.
Held it close and
Sheltered it from harm.
Never let it go,
Even when it's thorns
Drew his blood.
Showed this flower
How it was to love.
And the rose....
Somehow....
Bloomed brighter
Than ever.
