Her head so high,
All of her achievements are plastered against the walls.
Strangers know her name,
Everyone is aware of her game.
A smile plasters her face to hide the pain.
Day after day her mind starts to fill,
Her heart starts to fade.
Nobody knows,
They believe she's the same.
Deep down it's consuming.
Every thought ends in a question mark.
Every breath she breathes suddenly gets ripped away.
Guilt surrounds her every move.
Tread lightly, they're watching you.
Disappointment leads to tears,
Late in the night, alone with her fears.
The demons come to play,
Silly girl,
Don't you fade away.
