Beauty in pain,
Such a sorry sight.
Love unreturned,
Such a forlorn feeling.
Helplessness,
A despairing disease.
Time passes by,
But nothing changes.
Routine,
Such a boring comfort.
Meaning becomes meaningless.
Meaning is rare,
Found in hidden corners,
Unseen doors.
It must be sought out,
It can never be
Discovered.
Because no moment has meaning.
Meaning is not intrinsic.
It is given,
Awarded.
To a time,
A place,
A memory.
Meaning,
Is nothing more than
A human construct.
