thrush lullaby
i saw a little bird sitting in a bush
he was brown and speckled he was a little thrush.
he had big brown eyes bright as bright can be
sitting in his bush looking straight at me.
then he sang a song a lovely lullaby
it was soft and gentle and almost made me cry.
when he finished singing he chirped and said goodbye
then he spread his wings flew in to the sky.
