He said I was so young
And that he wouldn't mind trading shoes with me

I told him well age is just a number
He is 55

What a strange man
Just live in the present
There are no problems

There is no youth or old age
Free your mind sir
Of these concepts

It reminds me of the license plate
That says
"I'd rather be"

You would rather be
But you are not
So do what you do
And live in the present
That's all there will ever be

Yes, this life is quite strange indeed
