I can't question how my mum will feel
my dad, my sister,
my brother, my nan

when I go home and tell them the news
that the once gone cancer
is truly back

I can't get out, that look on my mums face
when I tell her it's back
another cancer has been tracked

but why me?
Why terminal?
What's the point of being alive?

I'm only 25,
why I should be here
how long will I survive?
I haven't got cancer
