Storms
I've watched as storms
Tore through towns,
Broke things down,
And ripped families
Apart.
I've seen them all
From the lighting bolt's gleam,
To the hurricane's scream,
To the very pit of the earthquake's
Heart.
I saw the families
Cry in pain,
Seeing their loved ones slain,
Among the Devil's works of
Art.
I stared in awe
Of the poisoned blood,
Of the rising flood,
Of the broken souls that did
Depart.
And now I see
The skies are turning green,
But left the others unseen,
To allow the storm in me to
Start.
The same storm
That ripped families
Apart.
