It doesn't interest me to know how much you make or what your grades are or what your parents do for a living.
What interests me is what gets that sparkle in your eye --
I want to know how you pick yourself up when you're down and how you deal with heartache and despair. I want to know how you deal with sadness, yours and mine. I want to know what gets your fingers tapping and your blood boiling. I want to know what you do when your back is against the ropes and all you can do is hope.
I don't care to know all that you have missed out on, but rather what will you do with all that you have now.
I want to know that you will not let the regrets overcome you, and that you will appreciate all that you have even if it wasn't what you had originally anticipated.
