I am a leaf
high in this tree
which now i remember nothing  at all
a leaf of life swaying in the breeze in this tree, of tree's
but i feel the wind will be the end of me
can you help me, drive this from my brain
this summer i have saved myself
my leaf is bright green
all thought darker than it has been
now my leaf turn's brown
i am finding it hard to hold on
to what was and what has been
today I am not sure I know myself
the leaf i had always been
i can not hold on but as I fall
I see, see thing almost like a dream
of just my leaf life.
