Sprouting new lovers  .  .  .
Walked through sunny spring gardens,
  .  .  .  Green fingers entwined.
The things I love
the things I hate
Here, self-medicate
Take the cake
With soap as frosting
Costing and tossing
Is all I see right now
As my mind is salad, how
Is it you look so pallid?
My mind races
To fill the spaces
Where stars used to be.
Your breathless chest soars.
Takes my hair quietly to
hold that flame in you.
His nocturnal eyes-
Dark sheets; Human Ache; All wrong;
I being his friend.
Stay home after dark.
His heart touching her warm chest.
Looks of liquid sun.

Losing faith in reality
When a dream is what you see
I see her
I see her with me
But i know
It will never be
I see anyone really
Just someone
To share my company
And help me feel free

Time to snap back reality
Work waits for me

This poetry
Will most certainly be
The death of me
