swaying on the edge
I have deep fallen

gathered in
a pure spider

some wear stars on their flag
some stars in their eyes
as if a star could be plucked out the sky

the daystar here runs through our blood
not the Star itself

Night hardly falls
a grey drape over the Sun

and its day

Vampires would find it too
light

Winter is their time
black for months.

So much daytime
so much Summer

we live, here
albino eyes

albino creeps
across our skin.

I pick one grape
squash it into wine
and drink deep
from the mystery

the Geese across the way have much to say these days
roosting down the shore, The Goose a Celtic sign of the Holy Ghost.
Monotone voices on the radio speak of intercontinental ballistic missiles
a modern sign of Armageddon just around the corner of tomorrow.
I wonder just what it is the Geese are saying, and they say it all together,
then stop mid sentence as one.
The many experts on modern day ills speak in low voices, highlighting the graveness of their messages, in between Hollywood gossip keeps us all interested and listening.
the Geese mate for life, and stay in family groups, and they have no need of missiles, its a shame we do not take a leaf or two out of their book.

cannot remember a time without war
no wonder Hollywood always portrays us as at war when it comes to aliens
and real aliens: their intelligence would tell them to stay well clear, and I wouldn't be surprised if they had been doing just that for centuries.

Star-shine runs through each molecule
engaged in ancient transformation-

I could swear I saw some tents pitched up on the Moon last night.

when time collides with you
you begin to listen

within this listening, long enough

Clinical love washed clean with gasoline
burns your skin pink
its an abc you learned in the womb
