eyes
Take no account
of spent -
years.

Three minutes and the cold sea will takeaway your life
the body temp will disappear on the waters
at this time of year you would not have much chance of survival
even if you avoid the heart attack on first entering those grey depths.
The Sea knew what it was doing when she threw us up onto the shore
to crawl away into the jungle and take our chances when our legs unfurled and we finally stood upright carrying our evolution with us.
I cannot but help wonder if the sea gave us up to turn around one day and take pity on her like sons and daughters towards their ageing parent.

spiders catch and eat flies to live

What it would be to care for just one day
to offer a hand or one small word

not everyone gets to go on.

A glance at the time

inexorably toward the end.

I caught a glimpse of you
standing in the night
a woman full of womanhood
a man in his dreams might meet

charged chemistry and charged particles
a gloop with expended energy
dreams of the night and daydreams
a semi auto biography.

everything worldly dies with you
the longer and further you travel
your corpse an aged gnarled shell
once illumed from within
now abandoned back to the Earth.

limitless, steadfast, eternal-
love stays true to itself-
bound by loving definition.

Everything is working for your good
the great conspiracy of love
knows no limits

The many comedies
of creation
Tell of your sense of humour

Lone star in the East
shines for all to see
yet remains humble.

you play me a lullaby
rain on the windows
soft touch of magical
as only you know how

to know your weakness
how fragile you are

is a priceless gift
leaving all to God.

it can be surprising to learn that the person you cannot stand is loved just as much as yourself

what cost memories
to value

light facilitates
happenings.

I found myself sneaking around memories
things that seem useless in the here and now.
But the persistent memory of such things
things that seem out of kilter hold within
a golden thread to follow to the here and now.

whipped

and you pray for a good death
and when you realise the death goodness incarnate suffered

a Chimpanzee has the strength to rip a Human apart
literally into pieces
and in the wild its all about dominance and hierarchy.
Some folks think keeping an ape as part of the family
a good idea, along with all the other 'good ideas' put into practise by Humankind that turned out to be anything but good.

read what you will before you sleep
and when you enter that state
take responsibility

The sweat on your brow will never move a mountain
and you cannot move it with willpower only
So leave the mountain where it sits, and move on
trusting that if it needs moving a grain of faith, will do it

Being unperturbed
by ones own constant failings
and the failings of others
the same old failings

I want to rest where the grass grows wild
and weeds hold sway
where a blackbird sings sat in a tree above my bones
off the beaten track where no human voices are heard

our nights we are plunged in spangled black

keeping a grip is not so easy
when your hands are tied
behind your back
walking a fine line betwixt
comedy and tragedy
the audience a pack of wolves
one minute, a lamb the next

when the night is a fleeting shadow
the sky a highest blue
your sleep is a blink you missed
all the night prowlers hide
around the corners of your dreams
and the wolves in sheep's clothing
walk in plain sight down the street
a smile hiding the intentions of their heart
and a growl just beneath their teeth.

I became unafraid of my dark side
I came to realise its just a spoilt child
with no more power over me than a ham sandwich.

light can be a sound
a listening
beautiful music
hail on the window
a gateway, a rescue
a hand full of light
reaching deeply.

the need now is to be awake
watching the silence
knowing of love so great
I jump into your stillness
holding in each hand
a handful of dreaming

seam of love

fire in flux

riding star shine a consciousness on fire

Mankind, Womankind, Humankind
a tiny place in the vastness of the cosmos
where a handshake can seal a deal(peace perhaps)
put in motion things not seen before
change the course of history in time

give something away
say a kind word
especially to your enemy(real or imagined)

your bones fleshed-out
innards and gizzards
all neatly arranged
skin suit made to measure
the invisibleness of soul
animating your mind
a ghost forever haunting

glimpses of yesterday form into dreams

night leaves her breath on the windows;
mingling with Owl songs deep into black;
the stars crackle and burn the sky;
dreams propel the sleeper into silent fantasia;
mixing fact and fiction with wild abandon
a song appears on the horizon, a heart beating,
and a white horse gallops into the Sunrise.

used to have to walk for miles
having much needing to be healed

now a stroll around the garden
-a little piece of paradise

or a drive around the Island
and beauty astounds

all this leading to a heartfelt
Thank you to the Divine.

an open window to breathe

a heart for love
mind for truth
a temple'd body.
