from rocks came flesh and blood
and flesh to dust

wiggle waggle of tongues
hidden serpents
about ready
to strike

with weight of words
and a light touch
freedom flourishes

a surgical incision, a surgical strike
intimate knowledge bordering mystical

clicks, quarks
blips and quips
three score years
and ten.

Jet black as space between stars

ending with an exhale
life is short

some need to be long
mine? Oh no! not mine!

generational songs
short fashion fads

we dance and
are gone.

long legs, a smile to die for,

a day of falling
in the blink of an eye

you can only learn when your mouth is shut tight

happiness is fleeting
but welcome

peace is forever
and deeper

ideas come like sunrise
some are still around at sunset

a *** of gold takes many forms
- just remain open

the turning round the Sun
sheep sheared
shepherds earned respite

An egg
slice of bread

garnished with salt

wide awake within our dream

singing of pain

setting empathy
in the ascendant

eternal yet limited
infinite and finite
room with a view

born in sixties
living the sixties

and thankfully
happily unabashed

unpicking the knitpicking
whilst knitting a pecker of a phallus

elasticity waning
gravity winning

flesh slowly pulled
into the Earth.
