Gnats can elicit gyrations

travellers truth and lies

unblemished facts

wrestled from heartbeats

truth cuts deep
-a gentle evocation

the science of love
breaks down eternally

the never ending end

bad entwined with good
sinews and muscle

a gentle touch of love
from all the beloved

they say there is an ill wind
- its blowing madly

from out the mouths of men
- breathes threats of death

half light in secret corners
blue in white

orbs of the universe
watching horizons

how deep does solitude go
once you start to travel there

leaving bread crumbs of course
for those just starting out

a being of dust and ashes
animated earth flesh

a dancer of the universe
making their own music

the hidden places are all known
the deep of the deeps deeper still

where will you go to hide
when the whole universe goes with you

open spaces filled to the brim
all connected interchangeable dreams

the sea in the window is blue today
along with sister sky
-twins identical on the horizon
and triplets with my clear blue mind

it can be hard to resist a puppy
you might say easy to love

but what of the mind behind its creation
that love is not so staightforward to fathom

love is a rock star
with a great sense of humour

loves singing
-lightening and thunder

loves playing hide and seek
but cannot resist being found

it can be a huff and puff road
full of unseen switchbacks

but all is for a deep purpose
-the full realising of dreams

led on a path of unknowing
but deep longing

believing in that longing
to come to fruition

confirmation at last
at the oasis of solid reality

you move on knowing
longing has melded with eternity

just enough steam
or even gasoline

just enough words
just enough love.

used to have to walk for miles
having much needing to be healed

now a stroll around the garden
-a little piece of paradise

or a drive around the Island
and beauty astounds

all this leading to a heartfelt
Thank you to the Divine.

crisp air invigorates the mind
a breath of pure clear ocean

a little understanding unwinds for the seeker
generational faultlines intwined with perfection
- loves final goal of all revealed understanding

terrestrial footfall
encased in mud

dust meets dust
buried earthfall

to gently glide through time
soul art reaped from silence

to sleep at night and wake
within a future dreamed
-come true on the morrow

a keyboard and a screen
no more paper and pen
times move on relentless!

ninety mile an hour winds
garden stripped and ravaged

ragged and torn

there will be starvation

being and moving in the strength of the Divine
-this puny creature, a child, humbly knows its weakness
in the face of all adversity, that so, calls constantly and openly on the help of God.

the mountain top being a place of encounter
infused light from another dimention
-filling the mind with a Holy captivating presence

finding the top having reached the bottom
changed in an instant having waited so long
the utter surprise having reached your goal

the finding of a new road to travel
excitement of the sheer adventure
a blessing in the depths of solitude
hand in hand with the God of Love

joined at the hip with eternity
a slow degradation to the end
oh so very agonsingly slowly
yet death will come in a flash

we slipped silently through the night
a dreamscape or two indelibly etched
yet hardly remembered deep flashes
bit parts and faces prompting wonder
the mystery of the nights own council

fish, locally caught
a neighbours gift

still wriggling
just as smeagol likes them

deafening corruption
on a world stage

pulling levers
to mask your sins

a corrupted soul
nowhere to hide

many say that to literally drop dead is the way to go
but I am not so sure and in the end who knows.

murdering criminals are not blind to their deceit
they just suppose having done it all their life
what else would anyone expect
