0ne can apologise for lack of concentration
but it sure does tell its own story

'tight lines' a fisherperson wishes for others and themselves

a mind bereft of long drawn out poetry reading
all lines longer than a few plus a few more
all are beyond reach all epic poems beyond my ken
my ken my mind my uncompromising truth on a worm fishing

one hand
clutching a quill

one hand writes
another pulls the bow

a goose on the moor
will leave a feather

mankind will battle
with quill or arrow

animalistic, a serpents breath
fruit for the temptation

come ,eat
this flesh

you will become
god

equal
knowing all thingssssss

someone, something, somehow
hits the spot

a bullseye to the mind
a recognition of the heart

streaming tears
sea salted

as ancient as water
crashing waves

a vehicle to travel
skin and bone

a steady heartbeat
one breath at a time

thoughts amassed ranks
sifted importance

days and years
hours and months

Christmass comes around
again and again

faces in mirrored ageing
some things stay the same.

a satisfying word
descriptive

feelings on paper
smoke up the chimney

ash in the grate
swept clean

a new word found
stranger on your tongue

welcome opened horizon
one more step on the road.

who could truly say 'I am the way'
except Jesus

humans with monster intentions
twisted minds to justify savagery
heartless to a core of stubborness
-denial of sister and brotherhood

tumbling over the tongue
words to stutter an echo

lips unsealed from trauma
able to speak deep truths

slowly with depth of meaning
forgiveness spills from your heart

it can be a long long wait
and then a long roundabout road

but the want and need energy
seared at conception into your soul

will be the victor over it all
and you find yourself won at one with the all.

crafted mystery on mystery
the wonderful truth
a depth to wonder to hallelujah!

an acceptance, comfortable skin,
identifying the invisible you

reaching out, reaching through
a hand to shake, hand to hold
shared moments, shared souls.

grating continents
edges folded
origami mountains

beggar beneath the table
in company with the dogs
hoping for scraps to be flung.

unstoppable unleashed love
impossible to fathom to its depth

where glints of light enlighten the soul
and feed the greatest hunger of all.

fingers writing their truth in sand
the crumble of history
buried under progressive build

marble and concrete
scratched graffiti
historic tales

its a slow fade
to forgotten
graveyard names

names scratched in marble
historic graffiti fading
gone from a tomorrow
when all that's left
is silence.

a lovers touch
the beauty of flowers

an unexpected
encounter

some will prosper
while you flounder

-holding out
for mercy

sowers and reapers
sun and rain

a muddy puddle
mirrored

collective amnesia
soon forgotten

chiseled names
weather worn

a word in the ear
travelling aound the mind

putting heart into
a response

the collective mind
invigorated

set sail and trust
in providence

with beauty
in abundance

well over the cusp of halfway
on the cusp of old man

numbers creep up
and disappear fast

the skin on your hands
an onward wrinkling reminder

where do all the stolen smiles go?
are they gone forever?
or are they fighting for freedom
from persecution.

a stolen smile is common
by way of enforced unhappiness

lipsyncing truthfulness-
a heart smiles genuinely when happy

grounded in love
'willing the good of others'

this small part to play
-on a narrow road

to travel incognito
-to the very end

one more for the road
one more because you can

and on the road
who knows if you will ever return

research is for everyone
to make sense of mystery

mystery of themselves
mystery of everything

and in the end
acceptance is everything

standing still is not possible
standing on your head is

walking backwards to yesterday
only goes as far as memory

walking forward into tomorrow
at the speed of a planets rotation is normal

converging energies
a point of contact

revealing hidden treasure
-eternal possibilities

tiny movements
big repurcussions

consequences out of sight
a calm still centre

a movement of the will
a choice fruit plucked

sliced
and freely given away

trees suffer wanderlust
deep in their roots

all the way to their seed
which birds scatter

wide

the trees dreaming
of distant lands

the voice of one who calls
even the dead to wake

love the power to heal
loves power over death

that singular voice
we wait and hope to hear

loves unique sound
man and God unite.

outlived

some never breathe the air
or utter a first cry

angelic faces
with eyes closed.

unexpected sunshine
unforcast clear skies

the predicting numbers
jumbled bag

nature foretells
her own story

rolling sunshine
a blue tide

the invisible moon
hiding in plain sight

a whispered poem
only the wind hears

washing on the line
the dripping wet

thirst of an ant
shoreline sand

language seen not heard
heard not seen

a single gesture
a wave goodbye

the distance stretching
a motionless tide

sea in a seashell
all in the mind

sister, you have a way with words
and inbetween
the silent spaces..we breathe

the moons know their places
in this orbital world
starshine to eternal limits

this world or that or the other
rocks water and air
a poets bones written in chalk

mysterious mind
a creators wand

learning language
pictures in colour

a plateau for rest
the snaking path upwards

a spiral track
rock and boulder strewn

tired traveller
succumbs to sweet sleep

weakened foe
doomed to failure

the naked king
parading gold

twisted spirit
deep denial
heartfelt disgust

away with your words
back to your own head
you absolutely filthy spirit

to find unending love
first believe that it is there for the finding
-after that
its all icecream in the most amazing and unusual flavours

sometimes you find yourself
-deep in the midst of battle

how that came about
-and why

all for the sake of universal
- truth's of love

to be 'for' something
an echo of love-

writing on the wind
quiet whispers of unity
