love, a free stream
constant
everlasting to everlasting

and yet still
we doubt

we look at ourselves
and its no wonder

yet love waits

dead bird feathers been cleaning windows
strange dreamlands where nothing , now awake
make much sense at all, a woman who liked threesomes
made me feel totally useless in any kind of future
and the future has proved me right I awoke and she disappeared.

voice singing way from the past
inheritance is so much more than gold
what lasts may be what most discard.

one lonely cloud
sailing the blue

future rain
for someone

quenched thirst
myriad needs

someone is rain dancing
to the beat of drums.

something to get you started
a kickstart engine

coffee is black as night
and you are a star.

prayer can be a whisper
and love can whisper back;

a breeze through trees
a breath in and a breath out.

a blue sky start
clear mind-

engaged heart-

everything is possible
for love

the Human family
we trace all the way back
in deep time to a place we call Africa
but we would not all call ourselves African
despite all the fossil evidence.

sparks running through the stubble
the great unison of spawning corals

a shout goes across the heavens
blinding light reaching from sky to earth

hordes of families up and leave everything
swarms of men with guns gone mad with bloodlust

this day we call today runs its course through unseen stars
tonight some will lay down in relative peace.

A Bee is perfect Bee
an Ant also perfect Ant
....and so on and so forth

A perfect Human?

skin remembrance and skin now-
baby skin, through to adulthood
all a sudden the oak tree- a
childhood memory written large-
Becoming the tree, skin like bark.

red is a roosters spurs
a dance of conquest

always beside the point

Here we go down the hole
the one we all regret
yet sing of its perfection

a man and a woman
juice running down their skin
red rooster morning

until we share death.

to sleep all children of the Sun
-to dream all children of the Moon.
To meet within the circle of the Sun
and sing the dreams children dream.

do not judge and you will not be judged
take the plank out of your own eye first
before you try to take the splinter out of another's eye

tongue-twisters awash with false bravado
which is full to the brim with double-meaning

'fiddlesticks' is often sounded
when confronted with the absurd

to hope in love
can be a tough ask

but to hope in anything less
its a slam-dunk loss

into the wilderness
to be free

many persons
travel that road

but compared to those who do not
its miniscule

a variated bunch
of misfits and geniuses

joined up lifetime
watching the clock
looking for escape.

unexpected but welcome
the unlooked for early start;

more sunshine more light
extra experience of wakened life

and digging back to yesterday
through a myriad of star-light

I see a wish forgotten
now come true today.

two become one

children are born

breath of two breaths

heart of two hearts

a unique new soul

there is only one side to my bed
and I fill it...comfortably
- without disturbance of body or mind

detachment is a beautiful road
all lined with flowers

a way to see beyond the mountain
and follow the flowers home

patience wins the race
the prize of prizes
eternal realms of love

its easy to love a dog, a cat,....
not so easy to purely love the invisible persons
..The Holy Trinity....
who live at the heart of everything

myriad ways love finds you out-
tests your capacity and depth

'Do not be afraid'  love repeatedly says,
as you stumble along half dazed

All will be well with you
'loves perfection' waits at the end of the road of hope.

Birds again will begin to sing
whenever the battleground falls silent

Love gave them their songs
and hearts to sing them.

for sure warmongers aplenty
far away from the front lines

can the sweetness in life be found on the battlefield?
your spirit be infused with love by refusing to bow to hatred?
be strengthened in mind body and soul by each turning toward love?
how will you ever know, if you do not at least try?

WAR!!! only a fool would gloat over the death of unnamed others
forgetting they themselves will suffer the same fate
if not in the same manner.

surreal dreamscapes, I am often set to wander,
the dream-maker has me firmly in their grasp
takes me hostage into their world most nights
and there in the dark they knit together mysteries
-deep fathomed storylines made from snippets
-a woven tapestry of real and unreal tightly bound
a mismatch of fear and doubt mingled with strength
- the strength to know right from wrong... the way out.

harmonious living, in sync with nature,
is not compatible
with the rate of consumption of the West

when the sky speaks everyone listens
thunder, lightening, downpour,
heat on heat on heat rising

saying nothing sometimes says it all as all know
silence can be an education a world wide contribution
holding your tongue, which is a strange expression,
but practising it now and again can make all the difference
a helping hand to all and sundry in a world of noise.

love creates, love rejoices,
love is a dynamo-
energy of the Universe

keeping on dreaming and rejecting
being realistic, honest, with oneself

dreams are dreams within bigger dreams
and the bigger dreams remain

to be honest

commentators are plentiful
but not bothering to even give a like?

every breath forgotten
lost to times reap

each heartbeat
a hearts worth of love

a smile is remembered
indelible in eternity

-quickening the rhythm
shortening the breath.

there is substance, often hidden
more than likely in each word

every stanza sings its song-
reaped from a silent heart.

Spirals in the sky
wind-bourn
uplift,
warm draught upwards

wings full feathered
-a cry, crying flock
in sync songs-
a gathering

beaks to make welcome
- to scream Alleluia
thanksgiving
Back from the sea.

Ah well, it helps to keep you humble
which is far by far preferable

and welcome

- to the alternative

the Sun comes down and shares my table
touches my hands, warmth, on cold skin
it is a star I remind myself in some ones sky
some one far across the Universe some one-
I will never meet this side of eternity-
but if they exist, good chance they do,
Heaven will be all the more wonderful.

Heron, old clinker built wooden boat
once rode the sea all round about
now she is permanently beached
a slow rotting down into the garden
with wildflowers peeking o'er her bow
where waves used to crash and splash
salty sea no longer to test her strength
all battles over, but she still rides the winds.

caught in the vortex
of emotion and love

a face set like flint
steadfast

the long journey
-shorter now

many many thoughts
-of home.

a little oil
fish

egg
bread

red wine
sunshine

a few lines
-to sing.

I talk to the Sycamores-
the eight sentinels
ones I planted as seed

Ten or more years-
I touch their trunks
tell them they are doing well

They in turn shelter
and much more
love me as their own.

the sky opens her heart
to let fly the souls of lovers
into the blue of heaven
