hated for no reason
condemned to death

little do they know
its Paradise awaits.

equally fallen as everyone else
sin can be a blindness
thats why we need all the help
we can get.

some are firestarters
on a world stage
gloryfying in themselves
the power and the rage.

the sharing of suffering
with a crucified'God
suffering becomes
nothing at all
except redemptive love.

words for signage
gentleness for depth
silence for listening
a mantra for love.

the wonder of your being
mystery of love

living a fulfilled life
in the arms of God.

a heart for love
the turning away
slowly transformed
each effort blessed
laid down in aeturnum

to have tamed the serpent
have full control of your tongue
lips for love
speaking no evil
wishing enemies well.

when you have left all, already
family and friends, houses and lands

when you have become pilgrim
or some may say refugee

when you know its your firm belief
you have passed over from death to life

when you have become a stranger in this world
you keep company with Angels and Saints.

it is good to make friends with death
even more, to welcome your demise
or rather the coming end of this life.

when you have tipped over the horizon
having lived the majority of your years
thought of death coming with rapid ease
thoughts of a new journey enlivens you
travel to a place unimaginably different
yet to finally know as sure as you are known

lying still as still can be
wearing your best suit

do you dream when dead
or live out your worst nightmare

in that final blinking of an eye
all will be revealed.

horse and rider
melded oneness
reins between teeth

stages of life
strange segmented minds
ignorant, mostly, most things

having forsaken the jungle
living a false sense of safety
to be preyed upon,
more than we ever fully know.

a time to sing
nursery rhymes
once in a lifetime

seed for the sowing
a bed to sleep in
thirsty drinkers

timed wording
stealthy tongue
personal agendas

running for the train
running out of time

splash of star shine
burning hot sun
moon warped mind

rivers of words
undercurrents
phased communication

a managed avalanche
silent thunder
mindscape lightening

a trickle waterfall
misty forest
back to the sea.

finding companionship
in poetic form

the evening song of the Blackbird
seems to almost say it all.

you have something precious
you have been holding onto

its a gift given to you
from before you came to be

this gift you fought hard to share
all along a lonesome road

all of your life
is written in a song.

out of seemingly nowhere
you find yourself
living out a prophesy

far down a road
you have been travelling
the mystery of yourself.

each and every atom
an orchestra and choir

in full spate, full voice
our song is not our own

we borrow words
lift sounds from creation

stitching together atoms
celebrating new depths.

sweet love, sweet lover
welling up to eternity
- Holy Spirit forever.

when poetry elicits  A LOUD 'yuck'
I know I should take heed
as to why this art affected me.

goose flesh and seal meat
a handful of fried grasshoppers
some chilli powder (hot)
and salt, of course
big Tbone steaks
mutton and lamb
chicken and duck
haggis and neeps
a grand plate of offal
in the mists of time
cannibalism.

living the cycles of nature
its seasons coming and going
life in segments long lived
and yet the years so fast
knowing therefore life to be short
but the taste of Heaven eternal.

the suffering
proof of sin

and that is what sin is
-the suffering.

I comitted far deeper depravity than those who have wronged me

in the background
chattering updates

a wolf howling
listening out for answers

deep in the marrow
unseen forces

someone pressed enter
all forever changelings

the wolves
stick to the same language.

today melds slowly into yesterday
a day gone forever, seemingly
but we can only see-
as far as the end of our nose

living the cusp
crest of the wave

one word from perfection
two words of poetry

the long goodbye
-graveyard tears.

fine tuning
paring down
refining fire

behind the fortress of teeth
-the serpent sleeps
with one eye always open

a smile can make all the difference
but beware the beguiling wolf.

riding the ocean of language
universal bird song delightful
the songs of Seagulls

a word softly spoken
-can move mountains
-heal a broken heart.

wearing many skins
-the Bear, the Tiger
I mix with the scene

a Grasshopper singing
the gentleness of the Dove
I try my best

these fleshed histories
friends in the fields
I wait in eternity

the resurrection
to rise from fire-
I become you.

a naked body
a mind of freewill

Garden of Eden,
'Who told you, you were naked?

The beauty of your creation
is now hidden

The scales in your mind
obscure original perfection

Now original sin
will challenge uncreated love.

teenage rollercoaster
who am I ?
why am I here?
why is anything here?
why is adulthood so crazy?
why do I have to do what you say?

a chosen road
sudden confirmation!

the silent hand
a guiding heart.

sour heart, sour words
bland, unsalted
without enlivening love.

unhibited stardust
speaking freely
before the end.

demented stallions
gone mad with lust

in season mares beware
a stallions love is often brief

starstruck lovers fill the void
the one shaped 'LOVE'
while staring up at the sky
swearing fidelity until they die.

love struck Romeo
Juliet objectified

Starstruck veins of blood
spilled in a night sky.

living in a world of make believe
the constant labelling of others
that so because of a lack of imagination
is indeed the workaday world of Man.
