poets hone their craft treading water
in solitude and silence

jealousy is seldom hidden
and its always lousy

finding your rhythm
because rhythm found you

robotic heart
keeps us going

robotic love
unrelenting

hidden timing
hidden worlds
hidden awareness
hidden roots
hidden view
hidden happiness
hidden union
hidden love

each word a mountain climbed
every song a victory flight

the stretching of wings
first attempt at flight
up and down on the spot

and a fair breeze
from Heaven
to hold you up

brain matter wrapped around your mistakes
calls for divine healing
the infusion of the understanding of love

trying is all there is
choosing what to try
is your free will

sometimes you go through hell
to reach a reasoned shore

trading gentleness
in a world of conflict

hatred is powerful
but ultimately defeated

wing beats on the air
heart songs triumph
- from silence

the granting of life
a God who dreams

dreaming of the image
loves mirrored life

fledglings find their wings and songs

layered down like tree rings

each heartbeat for good or ill

the rivers of blood full of life giving breath
free oxygen suckled from births first gasp

fragmented memory needing healing
love to forgive myself and others

the wholesomeness so needed
to stop destruction poisoning the present
