downwind of world events
a small hand to help along
prayer to banish hate from hearts
(your own especially of course)
is oftentimes all you have got.

there is a truth along all paths
a piecing together of life

a jigsaw is slowly solved
a knowing deep within all spheres

setting out once again
a new perspective takes shape

the union of simplicity
a way to be, a way of love.

we, as children, rode the skies,
played with freedom under our wings,
could feel the kinship with earth,
knew love flew with Birds,
the world would have us denied
the world of men, warring with hate
but nothing can rob us
our childhood is lived still
we children of Jesus and the Universe.

many would have you believe
strong arm tactics including war

are the answer to life
well lived

love everlasting seems out of reach
a made up state of 'being'

yet love is yet to be conquered
yet to be totally banished

and love will be at all ends
love will vanquish everything.

Little shared precious moments
Linger in my heart.
Sometimes intense pain,
Sometimes pleasure.
Even though my heart doesn’t
Allow it, I have to drift away.
To find peace within me,
I must drift away.

all is forgiven
-fuel of forever

freedom
set free

gates of paradise
forever flung wide with love.
