My old coat
you are the best,

Others come and go,
but you have
stood the
test

I never mended that hole
in your pocket,
because it's fun
finding out
what's hiding
in the
lining

The tyranny of the dull mind,
All’s lost
if you
cannot
be
kind

The tyranny of the dull mind,
That dark place,
that made
you
blind

Time went so fast.
I turned around and you were passed,
Without you
I wouldn’t have the fight,
Now I have
The inner light

I never met you.
What can I say,
Still think of you every day

In the darkness
Of your room,
Banishing all the gloom,
Now there is a light,
You soul has taken flight

Child kisses the mouth
Of the shadow dog,
Water on her arm
“The moon”

Watching the circular ripples
Expanding

And me,
Watching her,
I glimpsed something,
Something I had lost

This is why I’m so touched,
By
What a child
Can see

Open up the word book,
What do you see?
Poem’s of the mind in 3D

A stream of consciousness
On every page,
It’s your mind I hope to engage

So put on your imaginary glasses,
And
Have another look,
What stands up
Inside a poet’s book

Disappointed
With the food
You choose to eat

Disappointed
With the dark shadows on the street

Disappointed
With what’s on TV

Disappointed
with what you call reality

Disappointed
We let things slip so far

Disappointed
With a bandage called a car

Disappointed
With the mobile in your hand

Disappointed
I cannot see the band

Come to me,
Don’t be afraid of me,
I need to know
The things

The things
You could tell me,
So don’t hold back from me

I will try,
Try not to be afraid of you,
Of what my imagination
Thinks you can do

Are you afraid of me?
Of what you think I maybe?

Trust is something we must trust in

So come to me,
As I come to you
