Coo
The pigeon dove's
is my favourite sound,
the quintuple coo
not so profound
a large room,

no, a really,

unimaginably

large room,

with a typewriter

in the center

-

the words

free yourself

are already spoken,

and underlined,

in the center

of the page

-

there is no blinking cursor,

no glowing white field

-

an iron sight

holds the paper down

so you can

torture or nurture

or shun or ****** it

with both

precision and accuracy

-

careful though,

you can drift

beyond the walls of your

supposedly

big room

in the length of a page
I haven't been sleeping well these last couple days
I'm busy drowning in "I'm sorry's" that I'm not responsible for.
You're busy drowning in the tears you cannot cry
Usually I could talk to my mom about it
But she's busy drowning in alcohol and text messages from her boyfriend
I usually wouldn't worry. But there's no lifeguard on duty.
If I were ever to go to a maquerade,
I wouldn't wear a mask.

Why should I?

I wear one everyday.

1.
I have in my fingers
A blade of grass
For company.

2.
Nature helps the mind to see
How things change all the time.

Yes, I should welcome change more readily.

3.
It's just.....

It's just the secrets you keep all hid
From me
From us.

Like a new toy
You don't wanna share.

That,
I can't stand.

4.
Ever the near-invisible threads... barely touching
The outstretched branches show
So much.

Oh, how Nature plans
Yet
Accommodating

All.

5.
Ants and insects scurry along their busy path
Oblivious to the fray
Unseen by human eye.

Petals blossom, open eyes
In the the middle of the desert.

Perched high on treetops
Shiny leaves, nests nearby
Boast depth of intricacy and
Delicate motif.

Yet....

6.
Canst thee be content, also
To see also thorns upon thy path?

For, it's the background of it all
Which helps prepare our reading
Of some (hard) things we discover
Along the way.

7.
Why, naturally.

Notes:

Why, none really.

Just...xerophytes can last very LONG!
(I am very encouraged by this :)

Yet, every single leaf which falls.....there's immense beauty in phases. Just takes some adjusting to the rhythm of life.

Life imposes nothing.
Just breathe.

Tides'll turn, tides'll turn......

Ps. And smile, man!

:)

She said
I'm not a writer
Hardly a listener
Not one of the talented ones

I said
*You sound like poetry to me
I wish I could capture the contents of your mind
Between black ink and blue lines
I left my shoes that I walk with,
in life in the corner to fight.
My pants are ***** with a pocket full of lies,
Someone told me.
And my stainless steel armor shirt,
I least  have the tendency to hang up for the next fight!
To feel blank,
Tasting a bland substance
Staring into nothingness
No room to ponder
Suppressing limits
Failing emotion and
Breathing follows up to a
Slow apathetic pace--
How I've grown fatigued of it.
