Let Change Ourselves for Peace
Love has different shades which culminate
On oneness of humanity on the color of blood
Let us purify our hearts to be the associate
In violent human emotions like vehement flood

Peace of soul and heart totally refines mind
Inner eye sees the things in light with real clarity
Steps in love makes it easy to declare, find
Hearts start to beat in a trance but with solidarity

Let us initiate love for peace and peace for love
Let be frank, free and straight in our approach to life
Let listen to our heart and symphony from above
Let us abolish the barriers of hate and carriers of knife

Let us celebrate each day as the World Peace Day
The absence of war and violence is the only solution
Let us join hands from all shades of humanity to pray
This may be the only pact and contract for resolution

What is there left of Nature in the West?
The bricks enclose the Wild, the trees are caged,
Once raged fierce 'gainst sky by ruby blessed,
Splendour of her fire walls subdued,
The maps, the ships, the plan turn ever East,
Inaugurate the modern Pharaohs cruel,
Rejoice in the visage of fabled Beast,
Deceive the mass while usher in His rule.

Cruel times prevail, the hand of doom disdains,
The mouths of mothers, fathers and their child,
Bread and Peace for all a distant dream,
The glory of the worker's dream defiled,
By strutting Kings and tyrants of blue blood,
Prussian blue, opposed to Russian red,
The revolution, world yet ours to win,
The dream from which the honest battle bled,
Marx's words shine bright and cast a light,
Upon path of destiny, worker's delight,
A flame to lead us from beleaguered night,
Of Capital, its horrors and its fright,
We must take path of struggle, justice, toil,
The quest for righteousness it does embroil,
All human hearts in sweet, earnest endeavour,
Across the world's bright nations, sands and soils.

What do we know of Truth, of Justice, Love?
Whilst calumnies of Ignorance prevail,
Deceive the mind of man, of woman, have,
We knowledge of the real to yield, avail?
All the pleasures of the Truth be shunned,
In favour of the seductions of Wealth,
Of Power, of Vainglory, agendas planned,
To rob the world of Beauty, Truth by stealth.

Meeting in the canteen at lunchtime
Laughing at our immature jokes
The girls in room five
They know how to jive
You know they were the most unusual folks

Lord you know we were lucky
You know blessed we were
The way we were happy
Oh sweetest Lucia

Went to college in different cities
Mind disorders ate me alive
Lucy P called to say
I hope you're okay
You look like you forgot how to jive

Lord you know we were lucky
You know blessed we were
The way we were happy
Oh sweetest Lucia

Got the train to Kent to see Lucy
Lady enrolled in the arts
If we weren't friends
I'd go round the bend
Jealous of her marvellous smarts

Lord you know we are lucky
You know blessed we are
The way we are happy
Oh sweetest Lucia

Grown up now we rare see each other
Buried in our separate lives
But when we meet up
We swig from the cup
Yeah soon we remember to jive

Lord you know we are lucky
You know how blessed we are
The way we are happy
Oh sweetest Lucia

When we are old we'll be married
Maybe having tea in the day
Those girls from room five
Who knew how to jive
Yeah I think they really turned out okay

Lord you know we are lucky
You know how blessed we are
The way we are happy
Oh sweetest Lucia

When they went and murdered thee
They only went and murdered me
It took me too long to find out
Spent so long in denial, doubt
I willed thy heart to be free
To traverse the world and seas
Again in rosy revelry
But they murdered you and murdered me

My Heart stood hung - a wretched sight
It hunted cruel - that Knave
Who made of torture his delight
I pray - my soul to save
