A book is my best friend,
It takes me to many places.
And the number I read never ends,
Because books cannot be put down.

From Mountains to Rivers,
Forests to Space,
Fairies to Mummy's Curse,
And Dragons and Haste.
The list I never ends,
Because books are my best friends.

Gemstones are pretty,
But why do they cost so much?
I know they're lovely,
But aren't they just rocks?
