Hello, Hello Poetry,
How are you today?
What poems have you got to showcase?
A romantic poem here,
A joyful one there.
Maybe even one about lust,
Oh what wonders you bring to us.
;)

People often tell me,
That I run too fast.
But if I go any slower,
I'll be going backwards.

What is poetry?
Some people may ask.
Is it just basic literacy?
Or is it an art?

And I say:

Poems are places where we express our feelings,
And turn our emotions into words.
As we make those words appealing,
We create a different world.

What if something was wrong,
But we thought it was right?
What if we knew it wrong all along?
But we did it in spite?

You are a gorilla,
Strong, ugly and fat.
But we all love you,
And we know you love us too.
Even though you're not here,
*We'll be keeping you near.

Just to let you know,
Love is not alone.
There's someone out there for you,
That really loves you too.

Theres a place I long to be,
A place where only I belong.
A place that everyone sees,
But its perfect just for me.
