My story is very simple
I lost my grandma several days ago
Not to be sad was a hard task
Especially in this melancholic pandemic
Rare are the things that make me happy
Vast are the emotions that I want to escape
At last, I don’t want to associate death to pain

I am not asking you to love me
But to accept me as I am

What if
I wanted to be an adult
But an adult with some human qualities
I don't want to go to work
If I woke up unable to breath, speak or walk
Where's the problem?
If you cried because you can't stand it anymore
Because you've had a tough day
Or because you've suddenly missed all the people that left

If you think you're a strong human being
because you can control your life, your feelings and your problems
Then you're everything but human
Listen to me
I don't want to transform myself into a mechanical process where all the organs of a human being are forgotten

Adulthood is an illusion just like love
Being an adult will not make you braver
You still have all the feelings and the fears of your childhood
But you know how to hide them

How
you express love
is based on your past
experiences

Second chances
Are only given
To the ones
That deserve it

Missing someone
Doesn’t always mean
You have to go back

When you move on
You’ll know why you relationship never worked out

What a mess
Going back to what
Makes you sad

We are always surrounded by people who don’t understand us
We always give chances to the people who don’t deserve our attention

But maybe

We’ll realize
That we should only understand ourselves
And we should give ourselves the chance to start again
after every failure

I want to believe in myself

Study more
I'm healing
But sometimes it gets so hard
and I don't think I can do it

but there is hope

We should be more gentle
with ourselves

Out of the ordinary life

In 60 days
I tried my best to rediscover
my country Lebanon
It was weird
to experience
the other side
that I didn’t see before
the side
where everything is okay
where youth still governed an
important part of society
But most of all
to see how your school friends
have blossomed into mentally mature human beings
who aren’t afraid to show their fragile souls to the world

This time
I wanted to feel everything
feel the heat
feel the human interaction
feel the pain, the sadness of leaving
but also feel the joy
of recovering from insignificant
and useless scars

How much
was it important
To change your room,
your wall hangings
the ideas in your mind
but to keep your childhood
best friends close
no matter the distance
and no matter the time

We need to take care of ourselves
not matter how hard it is seems
It doesn't have to be majestic
It should get ugly
Because starting something new
isn't easy, it is terrifying
But trust me when you get there
it's worth it
It's a lot of work
But think of how much you need it
How much it is important to your soul,
to your body, to your confidence
You're not alone in this
Everything takes time
Look around you
Even nature takes time to grow
Do not expect progress to
happen suddenly
You have to keep going
no matter the time
For what counts is our
experiences , how much we have
felt, even suffered to accomplish ourselves

Happiness is waking up in the morning and being able to get up
Happiness is sorting out your clothes and realizing that you have too many
Happiness is knowing that you’re lucky
Happiness is finding out that your stress is meaningless
Happiness is not being afraid of useless things
Happiness is taking care of yourself everyday
Happiness is bathing in a warm water
Happiness is sleeping early
Happiness isn’t that hard you know
But we always forget ourselves in this chaotic world
I want you to take care of yourself no matter what
To love yourself and admire your body even if it’s not perfect
I want you to wake up everyday grateful that you’re living this life
I want you to have all the things that we’re missing in your life
I want you to have friends that love not matter how weird and awkward you are
I want you to trust yourself enough so you’ll never worry about the future
I want you to give yourself some time to sit back and relax
Make time for yourself , for your own self
It’s not good to neglect yourself

But stil don’t know it

You can’t guess what they are by their façade, you have to visit them, discover every room in order to truly know them

Someone called me modern today
and I don’t know if that’s a good thing
Maybe because where I was born people are usually attached to useless traditions
But we can’t always define someone by their country of origin
Even if we have lived in same places
but we have different parents, entourage and all that stuff
Stereotypes ruin our lives
But we will always find a way to show our true selves

Loving someone needs time
You can't jump from being friends
to lovers in seconds

It’s not about the past
nor about your future
Why do we like to torture ourselves?
Is pain the only thing you can feel?
Is absence the only kind of love you know?
