My life is stagnant
My smile is never real,I use it to
masquerade my pain because you can’t handle my truth
I cry myself to sleep every night
I don’t aim for happy anymore;I just want
the pain to stop
I’m stuck in a mental loop of misery and I don’t know how to get out.
Ask me again! Just one more time and I promise I’ll tell you
I just need you to show me you care to see through my lie
That my absence won’t go unnoticed.
**I’m great , life’s good. Can’t complain and you?
We're only brave enough to say the part in bold to our loved ones.

Ryan P Kinney
by Ryan P. Kinney and J.M. Romig

I am shards and reflections
Machinations and reactions
I am translucent pieces and parts
Assembled and disheveled

Spitting.
Clicking
Fingertips stumbling ever so awkwardly
Across the keyboard
Slightly stale leftover love
Making memories
Drift in...

My conscious lacks a separation between the human and the inert
Most sociopaths have a certain charm
As long as the melody of my voice plays in you , dance to it ,feel it, before it fades away.

Before I do.
Giving up of one self , so that you may feel others pain daily.
Isn't this what a poet actually do, allowing self to go through.
Things so that we may allow Christ to use our words to heal.
For by being given this gift, we return it back to Christ daily.
So that he can use those words, those suffering to heal others.
Whom can relate and understand what you are going through.
Thus bringing healing to those that are feeling the same way too.
So yes does the Christ reward us for obediently helping others.
To be brought through their pain, struggles, and pain because of those poems.

Too long I've rested upon my throne.
Ordained as ruler,
I wield a sceptre
imbued with old indoctrinated notions.
Bound in aged, tired traditions.
Obstinacy clasped tight within my fingers.

Living by the
foundations laid,
imposed by predecessors before.
I realise that I am but caged
within my self enforced confines.

I want what lays beyond...
But I am afraid...
And more...

I must embrace the unknown.
Be fearless...
And take to the darkness.

Because...

One can only fly free into greatness
if one is unafraid to take the leap
into changing winds.
