Sorrow insurmountable
Taking me close to a coma
Still trying to keep myself happy
For otherwise, we would have
Lost the battle
“Emerge victorious”
Was what they told me
And victorious, I did emerge
Now, on the way to
Regaining my
Wholesome self
And showing the finger
To villains…

These are times
When things are unjust

When speaking up is a must

You have to seek people who are just
These are times when
Parents have to
Hold on tight to their kids
Lest they lose them
Times when the health of the country is not robust
Remember that you have to protest
Remember that fairness must come first...

Flowers are blooming again
But the planet is ill...
People are dying in huge numbers
Infected by some viruses
Which were carried by animals...

Humans exploited the planet:
The earth,the water,the creatures!
The results are showing,
One by one...

Can't we minimize
The processes of ruin
And embrace
The blooming flowers
And read God's message?

Today we bought tulips
And the desks have turned beautiful
We celebrated birthdays
A month back
And I remember the vegan cheesecake for Abby
Hubby said in his card
“I don’t know how I got so lucky…”
And I, on this Tuesday
Think likewise
Alexa plays the oldies
While we drink French wine
With steaming hot
Fusion dinner…
Life is full!

Fall is the perfect season
with enough sunshine
leaves dropping down
trees changing colors
changes in our lives
with the elections
coming
with approaching winter
please O God
make it "changes for the good..."

While having an avocado
For b’fast
I remembered that many
Loved ones who might have
Loved avocados are missing
From several dinner tables now…
Those who might have loved
Getting up early and exercising.
Like I do.
Those who might have
Wondered at a bough full of
Flowers they saw while out
On their walks.
Who might have felt
Awake on smelling their coffee…

Christmas is close by
We are going to celebrate in India
Without the snow
Happy and sad
Missing friends
Reunite with family
US is now home
Where I have stayed
For thirty years
And my home in India
Had my company for twenty six
O Lord
May both my homes
Prosper!

It is snowing today
Everything is white, pristine...
God is making it beautiful
In these stressful times.

Man is making things ugly
And God, making them heartwarming, nice...

He is making us believe
That the good and the beautiful prevails.
Ugliness gets defeated.

Believe, go on believing
That "this too shall pass."

Today is a different creative day
The tv is on, hubby is teaching downstairs
The day has already rolled into night
And I am in between reading a novel
And a book on art
The times are becoming full of hope again
Goodness won the elections
There are chances of a vaccine
For the pandemic getting distributed soon
But evil is taking its time to exit
And is opposing God
Winter is approaching
Festivities are on the close horizon
Let us pray
For the floods and the fires to succumb to Hope!

It rained heavy the last
few days
I love watching rain
the trees get washed
and so does the concrete
Everything glistens
getting wet is a joy!
Being out on the streets
in a car feels cosy
pain removes pain...

Reading magazines and books
listening to music and singing
painting to my heart's content
Avoiding thinking about
what I hear on the news
that is how we all should
pass their days
Indulge in pursuits
which make you happy
and strengthen you
to face the ugly reality

You who are out there working
On frontlines, grasp life fully well
Grappling with death all the time
Teach us how to value it…

Warmth elongating
sunlight persisting
We seeping in the brilliance
Swimming pools
are covered up
but the mood lingering
around the greeneries
and the falling leaves
All warmth is welcome!

God creates
Oftentimes we forget
We grow from a toddler
To an adult

Pizzeria
Went to Manhattan
after a long time
Feeling joyful
Feeling relaxed
