Lying here rewinding us
while you sleep
Reflecting on where we've been
and where we are
Pausing here and there
feeling for effect
I look at you and wonder
just how much more
I could  ever hope to have-
to hope to live-
that's more than this.

Fast-forward to last night
and there we were
loving like there'll be
no tomorrow
Loving away all of those angry  
yesterdays
Now it's 2 a.m. and my heart
is wide awake
hoping you'll dream us
back again

Sometimes it feels you are somebody else
Hiding behind a pillar, to show your shadow
The place where we met, a lost story
but again sometimes I feel you are my life

A love gone wrong in the world's eyes
Strong, steady and silent...
tears, weeping and violent.
The best, the worst...both you and me

Sometimes I feel what did I get out of you!
The answer is a question itself!
My life my love all swimming on your thoughts
That's where I get to see a reflection of myself

Then a mirror becomes useless..
you describe me so perfectly
that I begin to love myself
No temper, no shouting

Sometimes you seem away from me
what would it feel without you?
Shockingly I twist and hug you
Where would I go without you

A night where we exchange our giggles
Where you softly whisper into my ears
Silent as the morning, busy as the day
Just don't go away...

Sometimes just thinking about you
A little bit of nothing brings a smile
A lot of everything brings tears
Sometimes...Just sometimes....

Knowing how deep the ocean
You still tested the waters
Swimming so well with the motion
Almost getting slaughtered

Why do you still proceed?
Knowing the possible dangers
Of these deeply troubled seas
Now we are no longer strangers

And you continue to tread on
The ocean's waves hitting hard
But you keep fighting past dawn
And the ocean considers its guard

The ocean nears defeat
And willingly lets you in
Now feeling incomplete
But you now are within

This ocean's gaurded heart
Knowing every twist and turn
Wishing to never to be apart
Knowing this feeling is certain

You contain the ocean in your hands
And yet you yearn to nourish
Knowing no one else understands
Wanting nothing but for it to flourish

She blinks.
And such an ordinary unnoticeable movement
Creates movements in places he never intended to landslide.
She's a super natural rip tide
She's an extraterrestrial tour guide
To the universe
Of his dreams.
The
Space
Of her smile
Sends his pupils rocketing space-bound.
The black holes of her throat are cautiously slippery,
She wants him to drown.
She's ******* him down
Down
She's gathering him up
And escorting him around
Like shooting stars in a moonlit sky
His pupils search for the skies in her eyes
And she blinks.
She etches the disguise of his demise in her memory,
And she tattoos her name in his heart with permanent ink.
