I love you
Love the way
You kiss me
And hold onto me
Sometimes your hands
Lingering at my waist
And my face lights up
I love the way
You look me in the eyes
And how you say
I love you
I love that you mean it
And that you want to spend forever with me
I love that we
Want a child someday
And we both want it badly
I love the way you cry
And I cry
For each other
Just because
And how we can be jealous
Not because lack of trust
In one another
But because neither
Of us seem to trust the world
We've both been disappointed by people
Even each other
But we're stronger
Together
Than we ever could be apart
So I love those freckles on your ears
And the way your eyes shimmer
I love the way you
Open your eyes when you kiss me
And I love the way you want me close
No matter whose watching
Yes,
I love all of these things
BUT
It's not WHY I love you
You see I love you
Not for what you look like
Or the things you do
But for the kindness in your heart
And the way you make jokes
I love you for your fear
And for your patience
I love you for everything that you are
Your fear of clowns and spiders
And your insecurities
Because to me
Their just perfect
To me
Your amazing
And I love you
For everything that you are
Everything.

Infamous one
She's asks do I look fat
Not sure how to respond
Sounds like trouble
She stands in the mirror noticing flaws
Waiting to got while she still decides
On a wardrobe to hide
Those imperfections in her mind
Waiting and late
Her beauty take time
Waste some of mine
Make up just right
Her hair set for the night
Not trying to argue or fight
Still not ready still not going
Can't fight fate we are still late
We are ready now we could go out
Enjoy this late date night out

To: you.

It's gonna take me a long time to get over you
When I asked how long "long" is
You just shook your head.
Fair enough.
We sat in silence for a while.
Before then I'd never seen you cry,
But it was much more than just tears.
Blame, regret, and a certain brokenness
dripped* from your face,
Until there were no more words to say.
That was the hardest part-- no words.
We'd always had a plethora of stories,
Jokes, and lessons
To share with each other...
But when lightning struck the requiem
Behind which we hid,
I lost my ability to speak.
And so did you.
From: me.
...Strange
that I felt it
A concept beyond choice
that unexpectedly transcends
expectations
An idea that brought forth
a longing
Where one is a victim
entangled in the web
A happy ending that
some of us see as
just
another myth and a search where
few ever succeed
It's probably
the light in every sunshine or
the radiance
in every smile
To some it's
the reason why
flowers bloom
upon a winter's death
Or perhaps
it's what surrounds us
in this world
where
everybody pretends
to care...
