let me be
your storm
for a minute.

Me
Thus he-
all sweaty and all marked by fights and time
-returns
another lily in his hand
that he now
stretches out
to me-

I see
the same deep
Everything
behind his eyes-

a spark-
a second

And a brilliant field
of purple lavender

Til then
it's time-

No worries.

...I am creeping myself out at times. I tell you. Argh.

Part the sky
and let your love fall out
in little stars.

Rain I

Leeann
Today it rains
Just like yesterday and
I can't hear the rainfall
Through the closed windows
But I'll gaze through them
and wonder what
the fog might feel like
as it ghosts through my fingertips.

Marla
your lips are bittersweet poison;
honey-lemon mixed with cyanide.

Me
A smile
that forms
itself
on my face
without me
really doing
anything
and that-

from face
to head
to heart
a wave of warmth
I gladly
share
with You.
Nobody stared at me for that.
