Nothing good comes easy
Nothing worthwhile is free.

You know, for a girl with
Such a wild imagination,
She argues with
Logic, far too often.

She's pretty pessimistic
For a girl with sunshine eyes
The darkness makes her tick
And a soul that's full of lies.

An enigma in her randomness
She is a song that holds no words
Staring down life's rabbit holes
Both the blessing and the curse.

Time is always standing still
The sunshine never lasts
She dances to her own drum
Waiting for the one who understands.

But credit her this,
With clarity and rhyme,
From the outside looking in,
Her I is exposed from inside out,
From outside, looking in,
For her conclusion admirable:

A peaceful soul
Tender kind and loving
Will always be sought after
Above all other types

Regardless of recovery
You will always be your own worst enemy
Drown the voices in your head
You can make it out alive.

yes, Yes, YES!

I think about you all day long
But must wait to call your name
You give me what I need the most
A release from my long day

Your boldness just amazes me
The coolness of your looks
I wrap my hands around you
And gently pull you to my lips

All my friends they wish they had you
They admire what they see
They want to have you with them
When they see you're here with me

Your seduction starts out slowly
Anticipating whats in store
My feeling of excitement grows
And I want you even more

The head you give it wont last long
I'll feel your wetness on my tongue
Then close my eyes and take you in
A guilty pleasure till I'm done

I think about you all day long
But must wait to call your name
And when that moment finally comes
Guinness Draft is what I'll say

There are three things I can't stand
A crying woman
And a lying man
That is where I draw the line in the sand
A crying woman
And a lying man

There are two things that I hate
People that don't learn from their mistakes
There's not a whole lot more
On the subject I can say
There are two things that I hate

There is one thing that I know

I am the awkward treble cleft resting against your crescendo heartbeat
All the while  thinking "I don't think Mozart could have ever written anything as beautiful as your breath"
And I bet when God made you, part of the angles choir found itself nestled in your vocal chords
Comfort
Like a down blanket you wrap me in the silk strands of your forearms
And all I want to know is how you got these scars
My guess is you fell to hard for a girl who was never your favorite song
And you had to nitpick the sour notes of her broken promises from your skin

Shiver me timbers
What's going on
I was dressed as a pirate
When I woke up this morn

I looked in the mirror
And let out an Arrrr....
I came equipped an eye patch
And a swash buckling Scar

I felt the strong urge
For grog, meat, and cheese
Went into the kitchen
Told the winch who lives with me

It's my new pirate attitude
That I have to thank
For the look that I got
And why I'm now walking the plank

When I arrived at the office
It wasn't the ship I'd hoped for
And security at the front desk
Barred me from bringing my saber to work

With all these modern day regulations
How's a pirate to get a break
When the only body of water nearby
Is a drainage ditch and man made lake

And the only pirate *****
That I'd hoped to see
Is right now swabbing the kitchen deck
While talking mutiny

Still the days barnacle adventures
Had a lot going on
As my head hits the pillow
I wonder what I'll wake up as tomorrow morn

You said save the Damsel,
but she's in no distress

I'm selfishly half dressed and less
awake than my clothes expect me to be

You said woo her with poetry,
but I'm out of back-of-receipts and torn off edges

I'm tired, and the shiraz has got to me
it started tunnelling through hollowed veins hours back

You said she'll be gone with the dew
leaving nothing but drops on your lips

The ocean whispers in mans ear
Come, dive into my mysteries
Where we will mix our salty tears
As we share in tragedy

Drown your sorrows in my waves
With the sailors of long past
Sailing to the end of days
Where the flags fly at half mast

Swim the depths of all the lives
That were lured in by the sea
Leaving orphaned children and widowed wives
Where what will be is what will be

The ocean whispers in mans ear
Drop what you have, come dive in me

Dear precious lord in heaven
Please give unto me your ear
The words in prayer I pray
Please dear Jesus hear

I am so confused
The path I cannot see
Please lord take my hand
And show the way to me

I need you precious Jesus
To take my hand and guide
But it seems I cannot find you
It seems from me you hide

Please my lord who loves me
Take my trembling hand
Guide me lord, direct my paths
As I travel this troubled land

Amen

I was going through a very difficult time
not to long ago in which I did not know
which way to go or what to do.
I prayed this prayer to My father in heaven
And he did guide me through the struggle
and help me through, in his time.
Thank you lord Jesus for hearing my prayer
and providing a way and lifting the burden.
All praise be unto you for ever and ever more.

A little glass balancing on a string
Tips to the other side
When a little bit of water gets poured in
To balance, pour the same water out
Things get thrown into the little glass
Sways sways sways
Colouring added in
Tips to the other side
Random pieces of **** added in
Tips to another side
More and more things get poured in,
And the little glass tips
Crashes to the ground
Lays on the floor in
smithereens
Life is fragile
Take care of it
and balance your
life.
