DieingEmbers
How often
have I wished
upon
a
late night plane
Just a thought as another falling star touches down at the near by airport lol

I offer you nothing...

but my words

and

my heart.
Silver tongue and heart of gold

I shouldn't have taken a nap
or gone to sleep at all;
I knew what I was going to dream about.
I disgust myself
and I should disgust you.
I woke up with shaking hands
and soaked in tears.
But you weren't disgusted.
You weren't at all.

Sniffles and sneezes
A stuffy and runny nose
I am sick again.

And we carried that mattress
as if it was coffin;
high above our heads
so the stench of cat ****
would travel down to another
Sunday-night northern family,
probably watching some ****.

Don't think there's a lot of this
going on regularly,
but when your cat has bladder problems
it's best to get on with it.

Unseen

I stand in the middle of a glorious bright room
With a smile spread across my face
Laughter escapes from my lips
As my eyes twinkle with joy.

In a dark corner I hear a voice;
My name sofly being called.
Pleading my to join the darkness
I slowly walk over.

I find myself in a burning flame
Scorching me to the core
Trapped and unable to break free
My eyes sting with tears.

Others still see my blithe self
My smile though remains.
My heart becomes demolished
As my unseen soul cries out for help.

I close my eyes and see
Him standing beside me,
His arms tightly around me,
As his lips press onto mine.

I close my eyes and see
Us sitting side by side
As laughter fills the air
His fingers locked into mine.

I close my eyes and see
His eyes gazing into mine
He whispers in my ear
The three words I long to hear.

But when the night is over
I find myself alone.
I know that he is deaf
As I silently scream "I love you!"

"I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead;
I lift my lids and all is born again.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)

The stars go waltzing out in blue and red,
And arbitrary blackness gallops in:
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead.

I dreamed that you bewitched me into bed
And sung me moon-struck, kissed me quite insane.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)

God topples from the sky, hell's fires fade:
Exit seraphim and Satan's men:
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead.

I fancied you'd return the way you said,
But I grow old and I forget your name.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)

I should have loved a thunderbird instead;
At least when spring comes they roar back again.
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)"

Slightly sweet cinnamon to tempt my taste buds,
Warm comfort found in breaded swirls, fresh,
from the oven to my plate, my lonely appetite to sate,
I won't eat them, those dozen all...at once,
It is too late at night and no time for stunts.
Ha Ha You want 'em!  I know it!
